Conrad Tamea, MD

ORTHOPEDICS

Medical Director and Director of Orthopedics

Co-Founder and Partner,

Federal Orthopedic Solutions

Dr. Tamea is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon, who now focuses solely on regenerative medicine. He received his education from the College of William and Mary, Drexel University, Hahnemann Medical University, and the University of Kansas Orthopedic Residency Program. Dr. Tamea is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, the highest standard of qualification to evaluate your needs and administer the therapies provided by BioHealing Orthopedics.

Dr. Tamea is a unique blend of old-school surgeon, innovator, renaissance man, master craftsman, and family man. He ran track at William & Mary and his relay team won the Southern Conference Championship. He has a special place in his heart for our quality of life and our ability to do the things we love to do.

In his spare time, Dr. Tamea is a master wood craftsman, making intricate objects in his vast woodworking studio at home. Of all of the wonderful things that Dr. Tamea produces, his violins are by far the most amazing! He has fashioned incredibly beautiful, world-class, violins from scratch. Dr. Tamea’s niece is a concert violinist with the Madison Symphony, and she raves about the fantastic quality of her uncle’s craftsmanship and the crystal clear, warm tone they produce.

Dr. Tamea was involved in two separate accidents that dramatically reduced his quality of life. He was unable to do the things he loved and found no relief from traditional methods. He turned to regenerative medicine and was ultimately restored to a normal lifestyle. He has been where you are and understands what you are going through! That is what motivates him!

Because of this, Dr. Tamea transitioned from an orthopedic surgeon to a precision, regenerative medicine expert. He utilizes his knowledge and experience from over three decades as a surgeon and over a decade of regenerative medicine and combines this knowledge with state-of-the-art equipment and products to ensure that you receive the best care possible. He knows what you are going through and treats you like you are his family! The BioHealing Way!

Precision matters and has a major impact on the probability that you will have an optimal outcome.

"He does a comprehensive consult that includes medical record reviews, an in-depth interview, and an extensive physical examination. He then uses image enhancement in the form of fluoroscopy or ultrasonography (depending on the injury site), to diagnose and deliver the therapy, directly to the injured tissue."

Sue S.

"I can faithfully give Dr. Tamea my most sincere and highest recommendation. In fact, I have referred many family members and friends to Dr. Tamea, and they feel the same way that I do.Full disclosure, I have worked in the medical industry for over three decades and have been so impressed by Dr. Tamea's work, that I am now a member of his team."
